Today you might feel like you have been pressed down, crushed and then some. Maybe you feel like everything is stacked against you and it feels as if it will never let up. The pressure so intense, any little thing that comes next will cause you to crumble. Today you might feel as if you are juggling ten million plates and life just keep handing you more. Or maybe you are feeling alone in your battle. Surrounded by people but always on the outside of it all. Perhaps you are reeling from a rejection from someone close. Defeat may be pounding at the door of your heart telling you you to quit, give up, stay down. I want to encourage you to take heart. Your are seen and heard. He knows where you are and what you are going through.

Isaiah 40:26 says “Lift your eyes to the heavens. Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.”

If he cares that much about his created universe that he names each star how much more does he care and see you? He sees you where you are. He sees your heart and the trouble you feel. He has numbered the very hairs on your head. He calls you by your name. Beloved. Child of God. His.

Let that sink into your weary heart and mind. Nothing absolutely nothing is too big for Him. He holds the universe in his hands. He holds you too.
